Dhaka, Sep 22 (Just News): Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader today said that the countrymen will not accept any national unity keeping his party away from the process.
Around 66 percent respondents support Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina while around 64 percent support the Awami League, then how a national unity can be forged except Awami League, Quader said citing a recent survey conducted by International Republican Institute (IRI).
While addressing a rally in Feni on his way to Chattogram and Cox’s Bazar, Quader also road transport and bridges minister said, “The unity they want to build, will be a Jatiyatabadi or a communal one, will not be accepted by the countrymen.”
The Awami League leader said, “The party was unable to stay on the street for at least 10 minutes during the last 10 years rule of the Awami League. How they will wage movement now?”
