Dhaka, Oct 29 (Just News): Ruling Awami League will sit in talks with opposition Oikyafront over the general election.
Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader divulged it at a news briefing at the Awami League president’s office on Monday saying that the date, time and venue of the dialogue is yet to be fixed.
On Sunday, a delegation of Oikya Front reached a letter to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the Awami League president’s office.
Quader said Awami League president Sheikh Hasina will lead the party in the dialogue with the newly formed opposition political combine.
The move comes in response to Dr Kamal Hossain’s letter written to Hasina, president of Awami League, last night. There, Dr Kamal sought dialogue over election.
