Dhaka, Nov 23 (Just News) : Detectives in a drive arrested BNP leader ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon from a house in Chattogram city's Chwakbazar area early today.
Mizanur Rahman, additional superintendent of Chandpur police, said a team of Detective Branch of police and Chandpur police conducted a joint drive at the residence of Shah Alam 'Mamtaz Chhayanir' at Chatteshwari road around 4:30am and arrested Milon.
Milon, also former state minister for education, had gone into hiding and was living at his friend Shah Alam's house for the last few days, said Mohammad Mamun, officer-in-charge of Chandpur DB police.
Police also arrested the house owner.
