Dhaka, Dec 28 (Just News): BNP’s Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi claims that after the declaration of schedule on Nov 8 and till Dec 27, as many as 10,329 leaders and activists were arrested and 844 false cases lodged. In addition, 2,896 incidents of party workers and candidates being attacked has been reported.
Consequently, 13,252 persons were wounded and 9 persons killed. He presented the data on Friday at the party’s headquarters while talking to the media.
Claiming that the undisputed leader of nationalism, Khaleda Zia, was wrongfully imprisoned, he said, “This plan to put her behind bars with a fabricated case was hatched long ago.”
The entire state is in the hands of Awami League chief and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, along with administration, law enforcers and courts, he said, adding, “No one can make any sound.”
