The opposition alliance Jatiya Oikya Front candidates, who contested the 11th parliamentary elections with 'sheaf of paddy' symbol, sat in a meeting at Bangladesh Nationalist Party chairperson's Gulshan office on Thursday to go towards the Election Commission for submitting a memorandum.
The meeting began at around 12:00pm and ended at around 1:00pm.
The two JOF candidates who won two seats in the polls were absent in the meeting.
They would go to the Election Commission office at about 3:00pm on Thursday to submit the memorandum.
Earlier, on Monday evening, Jatiya Oikya Front senior leaders turned down the election results and decided to submit a memorandum to the Election Commission demanding re-election.
