Krishak Shramik Janata League not to join any polls under AL

Krishak Shramik Janata League, a partner of the Jatiya Oikya Front, will not participate in any election under newly formed Awami League government and the present Election Commission.

The decision was made at a daylong extended central committee meeting of the party at its central office at Motijheel on Saturday.

After the meeting president of the KSJL and decorated freedom fighter Abdul Kader Siddique said at a press briefing, ‘Our party will not take part in any election under newly formed government and present Election Commission.’

‘Moreover we shall file no case in the court against the riggings in the election held on December 30,’ Kader Siddique said.

He demanded immediate cancellation of the elections and also demanded fresh elections under neutral government.

The general secretary of the party Habibur Rahman Talukder, joint general secretly Iquebal Siddiqui, central leader Kuri Siddique and others attended the press conference.
