Pakistan 300/4 declared in first innings

Pakistan have declared their first innings on 300 runs losing four wickets after 98.3 overs against hosts Bangladesh during the fourth day of their second Test at Mirpur’s Sher-e-Bangla national cricket stadium on Tuesday.

Pakistan resumed the day on 188 for 2 with Babar Azam batting on 71 and Azhar Ami on 52.

Right hand pacer Ebadat took the wicket of Azhar Ali in the second over of the day as Azhar (56) tried to pull but eventually managed a top edge which was caught easily by weicketkeeper Liton Das in the the last ball of 65th over.

Khaled Ahmed gave another breakthrough for Bangladesh two overs later as he trapped Pakistan skipper Babar (76) for leg before wicket. It was the first wicket for Khaled in his Test career while playing third match of his career.

Later Fawad Alam and Mohammad Rizwan both struck half centuries as they scored 50 amd 53 respectively.
