Tigers win first Test against Windies by 64 runs

Dhaka, Nov 24 (Just News): A Taijul Islam five-for lead Bangladesh's fightback as the hosts defeated West Indies by 64 runs on day three of the first Test to take a 1-0 lead in the two match series at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury stadium. West Indies were set a target of 204 to win and eventually bowled out for 139 runs. Captain Shakib al Hasan became the first Bangladeshi to take 200 Test wickets and the quickest to reach the double of 200 Test wickets and 3000 Test runs.

Bangladesh started the day against visitors West Indies at 55/5 with Mushfiqur Rahim and Mehedi Hasan Miraz batting.
