LUNCH: Bangladesh began bowling brilliantly today, but two dropped catches cost them the desperately-sought early breakthrough as Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor put together a fantastic 172-run partnership, both completing half-centuries on the way. Williamson, who appeared to have hurt his shoulder, did eventually depart after a 105-ball 74 as he returned a catch straight to Taijul Islam. However, that was the only wicket to fall and Ross Taylor completed a very agressive hundred off just 97 balls as the hosts break for lunch at 198 for three on day four of the second Test match against Bangladesh at Wellington.

Lunch: 44.6 NZ 198/3; Taylor 103 (107b), Nicholls 9 (18b): It is lunch on Day four of the second Test. New Zealand trail Bangladesh by 13 runs in their first innings.

41.2 - NZ 188/3; Taylor 102 ( 97), Nicholls 0 (0): Ross Taylor brings up his 18th Test ton with a six off Taijul Islam. Dropped on 20, he has made the most of the opportunities as New Zealand reached 189 for three after 42 overs.

39.3 - NZ 180/3; Williamson 74 (105), Taylor 94 (92): Wicket! Williamson looks to play this through the onside but gets a leading edge which the bowler takes. Taijul Islam has given Bangladesh the first breakthrough of the day. KS Williamson c & b Taijul Islam 74 (162m 105b 11x4 1x6) SR: 70.47. The captain started the off by hitting Taijul for six, but he simply played the ball back to Taijul for an easy catch just two balls later. Maybe it had something to do with the discomfort in his shoulder, but it's nothing that should stop the hosts from taking a first-innings lead. He departs for a 105-ball 74. Taylor at the other end is inching towards a ton.

36.1 - NZ 158/2; Taylor 81 (82), Williamson 66 (95): Taylor hits Soumya for a big six to continue his agressive march towards a hundred while also bringing up 150 for his partnership with Williamson.
