Dhaka, Jan 28 (Just News): An all-round performance from Afif Hossain led Bangladesh to a five-wicket win over England in the 5th Place Play-off of the Under-19 World Cup at Queenstown on Sunday.

Batting first, Liam Banks' 74 and Harry Brook's 66 gave England a good start, but the Bangladesh bowlers then fought back to bundled the English out for 216.

Hasan Mahmud and Afif Hossain bagged three wickets each for the Young Tigers while Qazi Onik grabbed two.

The latter then hit 71 off 86 balls in their successful chase, aided by skipper Saif Hassan's 59.

Adam Finch took two wickets for the English side.
