Turkey's ambassador to Bangladesh Ramis Şen expressed their will to provide DU students with scholarships on Tuesday. The ambassador met Dhaka University VC Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan yesterday in his office. At that moment, the DU VC was accompanied by the university's treasurer Dr. M. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury & Dr. Md. Abdullah Al Mahmud from the World Religion & Culture dept.
During the visit, they discussed strengthening the cooperation between DU and Turkey's different universities regarding running education and research projects. Also, they dwelt on exchanging teachers, learners and researchers between both countries.
Dhaka University VC Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan says, ''We are blessed with an old-sweet friendship."
He expects to have financial assistance from Turkey for the DU central mosque complex and Medical Center. Turkey's ambassador to BD assures them the same.
