However, on 12th March, it surpassed. Now it ranked 2nd on the list of cities with the worst air quality. It got an AQI score of 192 at 10:25 AM on this date. As a result, today’s air was classified as ‘unhealthy’. According to the AQI index, it indicates a health threat to Dhaka city residents.
Dhaka is densely populated. Its residents are highly suggested to ensure a city with the least pollution for the sake of their expected longevity.
On 12th March, India’s Delhi, Mumbai and Nepal’s Kathmandu cities respectively occupy the first, third, and fourth positions on the list, with AQI scores of 248, 184 and 176. On 6th March, Pakistan’s Lahore, Poland’s Wroclaw and Indonesia’s Jakarta earn the first, second and third positions on the list, with AQI scores of 176, 171, and 170 respectively.
