Bangladeshi among two injured in Houthi missile attack, says Saudi-led coalition

A Bangladesh-origin resident is among the two foreigners injured in a missile attack by Houthi rebels in southern Saudi Arabia, the state media reported on Sunday.

Reuters said citing SPA that the other foreigner was a Sudanese and that they have sustained minor injuries when a ballistic missile fired by the Iran-aligned Houthi movement fell on the town of Ahad al Masarihah.

A number of workshops and civilian vehicles were damaged in the attack, which targeted the industrial town in southwestern Jazan.

The Saudi-led coalition has been fighting the Houthi group in Yemen since 2015.

It has intensified air strikes on what it says are Houthi military targets after the group carried out an unprecedented assault on coalition member the United Arab Emirates on Monday and further missile and drones launches at Saudi cities.
