Fatalities from Covid-19 infection surged to 3,657 as 32 more new deaths have been reported in 24 hours.
Another 2,028 new infections have been reported in the same period among the 10,018 samples tested, the Directorate General of Health Services said in a media release on Sunday.
The total number of infections now stand at 276,549.
Among samples tested in the last 24 hours, 20.20% tested positive.
Bangladesh has so far tested 1,351,666 sample with test positivity rate standing at 20.46%.
The official recovery rate stands at 57.48 percent and the mortality rate at 1.32% with the latest deaths of 25 males and seven females.
