Planning minister MA Mannan on Tuesday morning was admitted to the Combined Military Hospital with COVID-19 infection.
Earlier on Monday, Mannan was tested COVID-19 positive after he gave his sample to the Institute of Epidemiology Disease Control and Research.
Mannan’s assistant personal secretary Masum Billah told New Age that they took the planning minister to the CMH after he felt headache.
The CMH doctors said he was now feeling good, said Masum Billah.
The planning minister had earlier cancelled his Sunamganj tour scheduled to take place between October 8 and October 11.
