A case has been filed against three people without naming them on Monday in connection with the robbery of Tk9 lakh from Sonali Bank's Uthli Bazar branch in Chuadanga.
Abu Bakar Siddique, managing director of the bank's branch filed the case against three at Jibannagar police station in Chuadanga.
Although about a day has passed since the heist around 1:15 am on Sunday, police are yet to identify any suspects.
On Sunday, three robbers, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and helmets, have made away with the money after holding the staff of the bank's branch at gunpoint, said Chuadanga Superintendent of Police (SP) Md Jahidul Islam on Monday.
"The identification of the suspects has been delayed as the bank's branch does not have any CCTV cameras. A part of a toy gun has been recovered from the bank," SP Jahidul said.
