Bangladesh has posted 1,134 new Covid-19 cases in a daily count, taking the tally so far to 496,975.
The death toll climbed to 7,192 after 36 fatalities were registered in a 24-hour time frame until Thursday morning, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said in a statement.
Another 2,239 patients recovered from Covid-19 through treatment at home and in hospital care. It brings the total recovery to 431,590.
