Seven people were killed after a bus hit an auto-rickshaw at Gachtala in Tarakanda upazila of Mymensingh on Sunday afternoon.
The identity of the deceased could not be known yet immediately.
Tarakanda police officer-in-charge Abul Khayer said that seven passengers were killed on the spot at about 12:30pm after a Netrakona-bound CNG auto rickshaw collided with Dhaka-bound Shahjalal Paribahan bus leaving Netrakona.
Police have reached the spot and rescue is underway, he added.
