Dhaka University (DU) authorities have decided to open-up its dormitories from March 13, after a year of being closed.
Residence facilities will be open to undergraduate and postgraduate program final year and final semester students only.
The academic council of the university, chaired by Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Md Akhtaruzzaman, came up with this decision in line with approving Tuesday's recommendation of the Provost Committee.
Multiple academic council members attending the meeting confirmed the news to Dhaka Tribune while the meeting was ongoing.
