Police detained a woman for killing a man in the capital’s Wari area Thursday afternoon.
The deceased is Sudip Sarkar. Details about him could not be known immediately.
Police detained an accused named Shahnaj Parvin while she was cutting the body into pieces, said Wari police sub-inspector Shariful Hasan.
He said that they were informed by some locals and then rushed to KM Das Lane of Wari.
Reaching the spot, police found that the woman was cutting Sudip in the bathroom and they recovered the body in several pieces.
Details about the incident could not be known immediately.
