Dhaka South City Corporation mayor Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh on Wednesday urged traders of the city to close their business entities by 8:00pm as COVID-19 infections continue to increase.
After visiting a Gopibagh playground in Dhaka, the mayor came up with the comment.
‘Closing shops by 8:00pm will help keep the city clean and healthy,’ he said.
DSCC senior officials, local ruling party leaders and community people were with the mayor.
