The government is now considering options to enforce an all-out lockdown for one week starting April 14, Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has said.
Quader, also the general secretary of the ruling Awami League, made the announcement while talking to reporters during a daily brief at his official residence in Dhaka on Friday.
The minister also said the government has been considering tougher restrictions to safeguard the people from coronavirus as the ongoing restrictions has not being followed accordingly.
