The Appellate Division’s court 1 will hold online proceedings for three days— on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday— until the chief justice gives further order.
The AD chamber judge will hold online proceedings for two other days— Monday and Wednesday, said a notification issued by Supreme Court registrar Md Badrul Alam Bhuiyan on Sunday.
The tenure of online proceedings of previously constituted four High Court benches have been extended until the chief justice gives further order, HC registrar Md Golam Rabbani said in another circular.
The Appellate Division’s chamber judge was previously holding online proceedings for two days on Tuesday and Thursday while the four HC benches were assigned to hear and dispose of urgent cases until April 11 in line with the government restriction on offices and businesses since April 4.
