Next decision over Khaleda Zia’s treatment after CT scan

The medical team treating COVID-19 infected Bangladesh Nationalist Party chairman Begum Khaleda Zia will perform a computerised tomography of the former prime minister’s chest before further treatment.

She had higher temperature for two days.

‘After getting the CT scan report, we will decide whether she would be treated at home or hospital,’ professor Dr SM Siddique, head of the personal physician team for Khaleda Zia, told reporters after visiting the chairperson at her Gulshan residence Firoza.

The blood and other test reports were normal and a CT scan will be conducted very soon, he said.
