The record-breaking surge of Covid-19 in Bangladesh is showing no signs of letting up, with the highest ever 101 deaths recorded in the 24 hours till Friday morning.
The total fatalities in the country now stands at 10,182, according to health directorate data collected between 8am Thursday and 8am Friday.
The country also logged 4,417 new Covid-19 cases during the same period, taking the total number infections to 711,779 said the daily Covid-19 update from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) released Friday afternoon.
