Bangladesh logged an additional 101 Covid-19 deaths in the 24 hours until 8:00am on Sunday.
With the latest count, the overall death toll from the viral disease rose to 11,053 ever since it was first detected in the country in March 2020.
Bangladesh also recorded 2,922 new infections in during the timeline, which was 13.33 per cent of the 21,922 samples tested during the time, showed the daily health update of health services.
So far, 745,3,22 lakh people are infected by coronavirus in the country.
Some 6,57,452 people have so far recovered.
