Covid-19 killed 30 more people in Bangladesh in the 24 hours until 8:00 am on Tuesday, according to the daily government health update.
Issued by the health services, the daily health update confirmed 1,272 new infections which was 7.55 per cent of the samples tested during the period.
A total of 17,675 samples were tested since Monday morning.
With the latest death count, the overall death tally reached 12,211.
The viral disease has so far infected 782,129 in the country ever since it emerged in March last year.
So far 724,209 people recovered, according the latest government health update.
