Seven more people died at the Covid units of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital in 24 hours till Tuesday morning.
Of them, five were confirmed Covid positive patients while the rest two died with Covid symptoms, said RMCH director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani.
He said that three of the deceased were from Chapainawabganj district, two from Naogaon, and one each from Rajshahi and Natore districts.
He also said that a total of 62 people died at the Covid units of the hospital in the last eight days.
Meanwhile, 37 new patients were admitted to the RMCH Covid units and 24 of them tested positive for Covid-19, the hospital sources also said.
According to the hospital sources, a total of 216 patients are taking treatment at the Covid units of the hospital.
Of the total patients, 91 tested positive for Covid-19.
