Seven people who tested positive for coronavirus died at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) in 24 hours till this morning.
They all died while undergoing treatment at the coronavirus unit, Dr Saiful Ferdaus, deputy director of RMCH, confirmed to our Rajshai staff correspondent.
Of the seven, three were from Chapainawabganj and one each from Rajshahi, Natore, Naogaon and Pabna.
According to hospital sources, 20 patients have been admitted to RMCH. Sixteen among them are from Rajshahi, three from Chapainawabganj and one from Naogaon.
Eighteen patients are undergoing treatment at Intensive Care Unit, the sources said.
In the last 24 hours, 339 people were tested and 164 of them were diagnosed with coronavirus in Rajshahi, Dr Saiful said.
