Circular issued on weeklong strict restrictions 

Bangladesh government is going to impose strict restrictions shutting down all business activities and offices from 6:00am on July 1 to contain the spread of Covid-19.

All public transports — road, river, rail and domestic flights would remain suspended during the period, according to a circular of the Cabinet Division issued on Wednesday.

All shopping malls, markets and shops will remain shut, but kitchen markets and sale of essentials will be allowed in open spaces maintaining health guidelines from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Army would be patrolling in aid to civil power to enforce the restrictions.

Restaurants would be allowed to sell food online or for take away from 8:00am to 8:00pm.

None will be allowed to go out of their houses without emergency.

Factories will be in operations maintaining health guidelines.
