The ongoing restrictions on public movement and businesses have been extended till July 14 midnight from July 7 considering the Covid situation.
The Cabinet Division has issued a circular to this effect on Monday.
The government earlier ordered weeklong restrictions on public movement and businesses shutting down all public and private offices effective from July 1 in the wake of rising Covid cases.
The order came a day after the country saw a record number of daily deaths of 153 from the viral disease.
