Bodies of three family members were recovered from a pond in Khulna's Koyra upazila this morning.
The deceased are Habibur Rahman (30), his wife Beauty Begum (26), and their daughter Habiba alias Tuni (11).
Rabiul Hossain, officer-in-charge of Koyra Police Station, said police -- after being informed by locals -- rushed to the spot around 8:00am and recovered the bodies from a pond close to their house.
"We are suspecting they were murdered and the bodies were dumped in the pond," he said.
"We are investigating the matter," he said.
Kishore Kumar, a sub-inspector of Koyra Police Station, said two of the bodies bore external injury marks.
