Two Bangladesh nationals were shot to death by the members of the Indian Border Security Force along Dona border under Kanaighat upazila in Sylhet on Wednesday noon.
The border killing victims were Arif, 22, and Askar, 28, of Kanaighat upazila, police said.
Kanaighat police station officer-in-charge Tajul Islam, quoting locals, said that the BSF members opened fire on the two Bangladesh nationals when they went to no man’s land area of the border at about 1:00pm on Wednesday.
They died on the spot, he said.
The OC said that a team of his police station was on the way to the spot to recover the bodies.
