Bangladesh reports 3 more Covid deaths, 206 cases

Covid-19 claimed the lives of three more people and infected 206 others in Bangladesh in 24 hours ending Tuesday morning.

With the latest statistics, the total death toll hits 27,904 and infections to 15,71,434 since the country had recorded the first Covid infection on March 8, 2020, and death from the viral disease on March 18, 2020.

The daily test positivity rate is 1.18 per cent.

Of the deceased in the past 24 hours, two were male patients and the other was a female patient.

The Directorate General of Health Services came up with the latest statistics on its daily Covid press release.

A total of 17,530 samples have been tested during the reporting period across the country at 834 laboratories while Bangladesh had tested 1,05,07,942 samples as of November 9.

In the past 24 hours, 356 patients recovered from the viral disease totaling the recovery to 15,35,390.

In case of the divisions, Chattogram logged deaths of two people and the rest one Covid patient died in Dhaka division.
