All kinds of flight operations at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) will be closed for 8 hours every day from December 9 till March 10 next year due to heavy maintenance work.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) announced the closure in a directive sent to domestic and foreign airlines on Wednesday.

Confirmed the matter, Dhaka airport Executive Director Group Captain Touhid-ul Ahsan told Dhaka Tribune the airport will remain closed from 12am till 8am each day until the maintenance work is completed.
