Covid-19: Bangladesh records 3 more deaths

Bangladesh registered three deaths from Covid-19 in the 24 hours till 8am on Sunday.

Besides, in the 24-hour period, the country also recorded 205 new cases while seeing 299 patients recover, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The latest additions took the country’s death toll to 27,978, the total caseload to 1,575,748 and the total number of recoveries to 1,540,317.

A total 19,811 samples were tested at 836 labs across the country during the 24-hour period, yielding a positivity rate of 1.03%.

According to the data, the country’s overall Covid-19 mortality rate until Sunday morning remained static at 1.78%, overall recovery rate at 97.75%, and the overall positivity lowered to 14.52%.

The seven-day moving average of single-day deaths in Bangladesh was 3.57 on Sunday.
