A fire broke out at a building in Dhaka's Bangla Motor area this afternoon. The fire originated around 12:15pm on the fifth floor of 10-storey RK Tower.
On information, eight firefighting units rushed to the spot and were trying to douse it, said Rozina Akhter, duty officer of Fire Service Control Room.
The fire could not be brought under control till 1:45pm.
The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
