Bangladesh logged six more Covid-19 deaths and 329 fresh cases in the 24 hours till Sunday morning.
With the latest cases, the total fatalities rose to 28,028 and the caseload mounted to 1,579,325, according to the latest bulletin of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Some 1,544,150 people have recovered from the diseases so far.
A total 21,612 samples were tested at 848 labs across the country during the 24-hour period, yielding a positivity rate of 1.52%, which was 1.13% a day before.
Meanwhile, the mortality rate remained static at 1.77% during the period.
