The Department of Narcotics Control arrested a police constable along with 80 pieces of Yaba at village Nabapalli Aichgati of Rupsha upazila in Khulna on Wednesday.
The arrested was identified as Nazmul Khan, 21, son of Nayeb Ali Khan of Tangail.
He was posted at Boyra Police Lines in Khulna.
Acting on a tip-off, a DNC team conducted a drive at the village and detained Nazmul along with 80 pieces of Yaba pills, said inspector Hawladar Mohammad Sirajul Islam of DNC, Khulna.
Nazmul was handed over to the local police.
