Trains started carrying passengers at 50 percent capacity from today in compliance with the government's new rules and regulations amid increasing Covid-19 infection.
On January 11, Sardar Shahadat Ali, additional director general (Operations) of Bangladesh Railway, had said that 25 percent of train tickets would be sold through mobile app and online.
The other 25 percent will be sold at the ticket counters.
