Youth who wanted ‘food in exchange of tuition’ gets job

Alamgir Kabir, a local youth of Zahurulnagar of Bogura, whose advertisement on a wall -- "will provide tuition in exchange for two meals a day", finally got a job today.

With the initiative of Bogura Superintendent of Police (SP) Sudip Kumar Chakraborty, Alamgir was given a job as a research associate in the retail chain, Shwapno.

Md Shamsuddoha Shemul, director of Shwapno, handed over the appointment letter to Alamgir this afternoon at Bogura SP's office.

Bogura SP Sudip reached out to Alamgir when he posted an advertisement on a wall in Bogura city seeking tuition in exchange for food, which went viral on social media.

In response, Alamgir called him and they had a conversation.

Later, Alamgir told that he would meet with the SP today.
