Education Minister Dipu Moni today expressed to soon reopen educational institutions following the downtrend of Covid-19 infection rate in the country.
"We have to be more careful amid the pandemic. We want to reopen the educational institutions as soon as possible. The infection rate has been decreasing, so we hope we can reopen the institutions soon," she said at a programme at Sylhet Circuit House this morning.
The minister was speaking at a view exchange programme with the leaders of Sylhet district and city unit of Awami League.
Dipu Moni went to Sylhet today to meet the students of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, who have been protesting demanding the resignation of Vice Chancellor Prof Farid Uddin Ahmed.
