Two people were killed as a lorry hit a motorcycle near Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on early Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Rafiqul Islam, 40, a ride sharing biker, and Kajal, the pillion rider of the vehicle.
Airport police station sub-inspector Jewel Mia said that the two died on the spot after a lorry hit their motorcycle while they were on their way to Khilkhet around 3:00am.
The bodies were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for post-mortem examinations.
Police were trying to identify the vehicle, the SI said.
Police confirmed their identities from their national identity cards.
