In-person classes at primary schools to resume from March 1, said primary and mass education ministry Public Relations Officer Mahbub Rahman today.
The in-person classes in secondary schools and colleges will resume partially on February 22, as per the government decision taken yesterday.
Following a sharp rise in Covid-19 transmission, the government had to close all classes in schools and colleges for two weeks from January 21, later it was extended till February 21.
Educational institutions were closed from March 17, 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic and resumed partially on September 12 last year.
It was one of the longest school closures -- 543 days -- in the world.
