At least 604 new infections were recorded and six people died from Covid-19 in 24 hours till 8:00 am today, said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The current positivity rate is 3.20 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 14.43 percent.
The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country now stands at 29,064 and the mortality rate stands at 1.49 percent. Meanwhile, the total number of cases rose to 19,46,369, added the release.
A total of 18,890 samples were tested across the country during this period.
At least 4,403 patients have recovered from Covid-19 during the period.
The total number of recoveries now stands at 18,35,980 and the recovery rate at 94.33 percent, added the release.
Of the six deceased, three were male and three were female.
Of them, one was between 21-30 years old, two were between 31-40, one was within 51-60, and two were between 61-70 years old, added the release.
