At least 233 new infections were recorded and three people died from Covid-19 in 24 hours till 8:00 am today, said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The current positivity rate is 1.88 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 14.29 percent.
The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country now stands at 29,111 and the mortality rate stands at 1.49 percent. Meanwhile, the total number of cases rose to 19,49,486 added the release.
A total of 12,366 samples were tested across the country in the 24 hours.
At least 1,417 patients have recovered from Covid-19 during the period.
