At least 116 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in 24 hours till 8:00 am today, according to a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
However, no Covid-19 death was reported during this period.
The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country remains 29,117 and the death rate is 1.49 percent.
The current positivity rate is 1.06 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 14.21 percent.
Meanwhile, the total number of cases rose to 19,50,725, added the release.
A total of 10,927 samples were tested across the country during this period.
At least 1,140 patients have recovered from Covid-19 within this time. The total number of recoveries now stands at 18,71,611 and the recovery rate at 95.94 percent, added the release.
