Three people, including a local Chhatra League leader, were killed in a road accident in Nawabganj upazila of Dinajpur early on Thursday.
The deceased are Rimon Islam, 22, joint convener of the Binodnagar union unit of Chhatra League, Sabbir Hossain, 23, and Kibria Islam, 30.
Quoting locals, police said the three were on their way to Kanchdah Bazaar on a motorcycle when a car hit their vehicle from behind, leaving the three dead on the spot.
Police are trying to identify and seize the car, said Inspector Tawhid of Nawabganj police station.
