Renowned recitation artiste and general secretary of Sammilita Sangskritik Jote Hasan Arif passed away in a hospital in Bangladesh capital Dhaka on Friday.
Sammilita Sangskritik Jote’s former president Nasir Uddin Yousuff in a facebbok post said that Hasan Arif died at about 1:50pm on Friday at the Specilised Hospital in Dhaka.
Meanwhile, prime minister Sheikh Hasina on Friday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the demise of Hasan Arif.
She prayed for the eternal salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family.
