Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Habibul Awal has sought advice from electronic media journalists on holding free, fair and acceptable elections.
On Monday, the Election Commission sat down for talks with editors and senior journalists from electronic media.
Election Commissioners Md Alamgir, Anisur Rahman, Rashida Sultana Emily and Ahsan Habib Khan, were also present during the dialogue held at the EC headquarters in Agargaon, reports the media.
During his welcome speech, CEC Awal said that the EC wants a participatory election to overcome lack of public trust.
He said that the strategies will be designed based on the suggestions from these dialogues.
Earlier, the commission held dialogues with academicians, civil society personalities and print media journalists, seeking their suggestions for a free, fair and participatory polls.
